PRINTING POLICY & GUIDELINES

Contract screen printers, which we are not, receive jobs from other printers & businesses to do the printing for them.  The shop simply prints the work, with the rest of the necessary work & garments handled by the 'middle man.'

Contract screen printing, in our opinion, is often a race to the bottom...with quality being thrown out for the lowest pricing.

Here at BPP, our business model is focused around the highest quality printing & garments; while providing a safe, eco-friendly, fair-pay work environment.

To provide this service, we do pad our garment prices to cover the proper handling & care for your jobs.  Our pricing matrices were built on the profits that come with the sourcing of garments for our customers. This is an industry standard for non-contract print shops, and it's something that allows us to stay competitive.

Still want to provide your own garments? Read on.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY PROCESS

Customer supplied garments must be shipped or delivered to us in the following manner. Failure to do so may result in fees or delays to your order:

  1. Send your customer service representative a complete and accurate accounting of the garments to be shipped to BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS. This is as simple as sending us the invoice from your vendor.
  2. Garments must be shipped to us with your name and company name, the FRESH BOOKS invoice number or your PO number clearly labeled on the carton(s). If you are using a PO number, you must supply the customer service person with your PO and ensure that it is listed on your work order.
  3. Garments for multiple invoices or POs must be separated into separately labeled cartons. Do not mix orders into the same cartons.
  4. Garments must be provided to us unbagged.
  5. FEES

    1. Failure to send us accurate counts or mark your orders correctly may result in a charge of $25 per order.
    2. We do not adjust the cost down for if there is a shortage on your order and you supply us with incorrect counts.
    3. Bagged garments carry a charge of $.25 per garment for unbagging.

ART APPROVAL

All artwork is to be approved via a digital mock-up through email by SIGNATURE. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art and ac curacy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mockup, as this is how your garments will pr int. BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and additional expenses for which the client will be invoiced accordingly. Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the mockup can/will result in production delays.

SPECIFIC MEASUREMENTS WHEN PRINTING

Even though BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTION’s printers have many years of experience, there is no way to effectively and efficiently measure a distance from the collar on each shirt as each garment is loaded onto the press by hand. If you request a shirt that is 2′ down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to make sure that all shirts hit that target, but not all shirts will hit exactly at 2′ , they may be off by as much as an inch in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS will not reprint or refund these shirts. Anything over an inch and a half from your desired placement will be considered for a reprint.

CANCELLATIONS

No cancellations will be accepted once production or any manipulation of the garments (tag removal, printed tags, printing, hem tagging, etc.) has begun on the order.

SOCIAL SHARING

We’re super stoked to be able to print for you. With that said, we want to show them off once they’re finished. It’s a great way f or us to show our skills and send some of our fans your way. We like to do so by taking pictures and posting on them on places lnstagram, Facebook, etc. If you are not comfortable w ith your shirt being photographed and shared by us, please let your account manager know when you place your order. If you do not notify us, we will assume we have your full permission to post a photo of your shirt(s).

ARTWORK

All files must be 300 DPI or vector format. Design should be sized to the size it should be printed. Text must be converted to outlines. Printing can only be as good as the artwork. Brown Pride Productions will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Please see our file prep page for more details. Brown pride production is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. We do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, but we do not catch them all. If it is in your art file and on your approval, that is how we will print it.

PAYMENT

All orders must have a 50% payment in order to be considered a submitted order and begin your turnaround. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Pay Pal. If you pay via check, the turn around time clock on your order will not begin until your check clears our bank account. The order balance is due to pickup or ship the order.

TURNAROUND

Our standard turnaround is 5-7 business days from the time we have an approved Quote or Order Approval, payment terms (50% deposit) and we have all information required to complete your order (all artwork, working / correct tags, all fonts required for editable tags, all shipping info, etc.). Delay in receipt of *any* of this info can/will result in production delays. Delay in approval of mock ups can/will also result in production delays. Some printing styles and add-on services will add to the standard turnaround time. If you have a deadline for your order, it is very important that you let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may apply to orders needing quicker turnaround. BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS will not be responsible for missing deadlines because of weather conditions, power supply interruptions, vendor shortages and errors, shipping errors or acts of God. If we expect or foresee any problems coming, we’ll be sure to let you know and work WIth you to rectify it.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We try to check every garment as it comes off of the press, but there are times where some mistakes will make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Brown Pride Productions will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS  also will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS does quality checks on the garments, the final quality assurance check lies in the hands of you, our customer.

We go to great lengths to try to ensure that every order that leaves our facility is correct. All of our customers are valued customers, regardless of size, and we want you all to know that. Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of date of delivery. If BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS  is responsible for any errors in your order, we will gladly accept responsibility for the issues and will reprint the shirts printed in error. We do not offer refunds, but will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate. We will require that you ship the misprinted shirts back to our shop (we will provide you with a UPS label and will cover shipping costs). BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS will not be responsible for any shirts sold or given away prior to returning the order.

GARMENT DISCLAIMER

BROWN PRIDE PRODUCTIONS is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important. Some manufacturers over -dye their garments. Over -dying is the process of re-dying a garment after it’s initial manufacturing period. This is

done for any number of reasons, including color correction, clearing out of colors that didn’t sell (purple shirts aren’t selling so the manufacturer dyes them b lack to sell them as b lack shirts), etc. Because of this factor, Brown Pride Productions cannot 100% guarantee exact color consistency on coloring with discharge printing or discharge based services (Premium Standard). This is most noticeable on white ink prints (showing a slight off white tinge), but can sometimes be seen with other colors. If you are concerned about the possibility of over -dying on a garment you are interested in or would like more information or alternate print methods, p lease contact us. We will be glad to provide you with any information that may help you avoid this issue.
